Shongum Lake Community Garage Sale has over 15 families participating next Saturday, May 18. It is not to late to let me know if you want to be included on the map I will be giving out to buyers stopping by. I am doing the advertising and setting up signs. I am also collecting cans for the food pantry that you can drop off to me that day at my home. I have a garage sale planner for all interested in participating to help organize you the day of the sale. So take advantage of a community garage sale and start your spring cleaning.

Shongum Lake has NO active homes on the market because the remaining 4 homes have all taken a contract this week and are now under contract! This is a great time to list your home for sale if you are buying or selling. Don’t forget this Saturday is badge pick up , swim team sign up and beach clean up, so come lend a hand with your neighbors to get the beach in tip top shape, it is really looking great out there and I am so proud of all of the work that has been done so far!

Shongum Lake real estate remains the same in this week ending on 4/28. There are 4 homes on the market with no active, under contract or solds to report this week. The beach looks great thanks to the help of many volunteers this past Saturday helping to clean up and remove many of the branches and debris that had littered the beach from hurricane Sandy, There is still a lot of work to do before the Memorial Day opening and beach party so please lend a hand for an hour or more on May 11 when we continue to get the beach in shape for the upcoming season and don’t forget to pick up your badges that day as well. Shongum Lake Property Owners Association is asking for members to come out today, Saturday, April 27th, to help out on the beach with a Pre Cleanup Day Cleanup Day! With the recent storms and of course SANDY, there is alot more work that needs to be done this year to get ready for the upcoming season. If you have any time to spare at all please come and lend a hand today!

Shongum Lake, NJ’s real estate is still extremely low. With 5 homes on the market and 3 of them with contracts in attorney review, it leaves us with 2 active homes on the market. There are still so many looking for homes in the lake community, I receive calls weekly from agents asking if there is anything on the horizon. With the Shongum Lake Property Owners Association Membership drive in full force for the upcoming season, there are so many great events on the horizon.

Shongum Lake inventory remains low,with 4 homes currrently on the market here.  Meanwhile many agents call me asking if I know of any homes coming on the market because buyers are looking specifically in our neighborhood. In the past two weeks we have had 4 homes come on the market, 2 of them took a contract, both of them had multiple offers which we are seeing again, 1 home sold, which also had multiple contracts. Now is the time to get your home on the market if you are thinking of selling your home!

Shongum Lake real estate remains low with 3 active homes on the market. We have 1 new listing on Radtke Road this week. Though the home on Glen Road is still showing as active, it had multiple offers this week which is a sign the market is on the upswing. One home , on Bragman, closed with a successful sale. Shongum Lake Property Owners Association ran a great St. Patrick’s Day Party this past Friday night, it was great to see neighbors we haven’t seen since the warmer months. This Friday morning at 10 am will be the annual “Hunt” on the beach where kids can run and find Easter eggs and Matzoh. Happy Easter and Passover!
