How did this happen?? How did we start off this year with a mere 68 homes on the market and end up in the middle of July with 154 homes on the market! According to the landscape architects surveyed, low-maintenance landscaping when done right can add 28 percent to the value of your home and cut its time on the market by 10 to 15 percent.
On the other hand, landscape projects that are less popular and less likely to add value to your home include geothermal-heated pools (27.2 percent), outdoor cooling systems (37.2 percent), shower/baths (46.8 percent) and gazebos (48.5 percent).
